finally, a glimpse of hope.

I'm so stoked. They totally have pagan poetry font on lj. How cool is that? So of course I had to redo my page. Anyhow...

 My mother-n-law told me the other day that she will be going to Okinawa in march for 8 months. How awesome is that? I would kill to get a chance to go back...ok, maybe not kill, but damn am I jealous. So anyways...she said that she didn't want us to buy a house unitl she got back so that we could stay and take care of the house for her. Which totally makes sense, but thats another year not being in my own home, no decorating, no furniture buying, no painting...boo hoo. But it's cool. It will just give us more time to take care of the stuff we need to take care of. Hmmm... and we're going to redo her kitchen so I guess I can be fulfilled sanding down cabinets and painting someone else's walls for now. Oh and we're putting Charlie's land up for sale so hopefully we'll get a good chunk of change from that. I guess good things do come to those who wait.

Oh...and I don't know what it is, but I so want to buy a drum set. I can't stop listening to "Only in dreams" by Weezer. Specifically the ending where it gets all crazy...man Patrick Wilson is so bad ass.

-Edited- Ok..I'm at home on my mac and I don't see the pagan poetry font I was so excited about earlier. What's up with that?

So with the mom-in-law outta town, you guys will be alone, right? Alone, as in just the four of you? Or am I making the wrong assumption? If that's the case, then that's probably a great thing for you. Sounds like you need time to yourself and your husband right now.

Damn, eight months is forever in Oki time! Not fair...

Yup, just the four of us. It will definitely be nice. I mean I like my mother-n-law, but this living with her just plain sucks. I do appreciate everything she has done for us even though all I ever do is bitch about her. Have you ever seen Everybody Loves Raymond. Well that's totally us. Maybe not to that extent, but it's close. We even watch it together sometimes, and I so desperately want to scream out. THAT'S YOU. THAT IS TOTALLY YOU! But I won't because it's funny and in the end I'm probably in the wrong anyways.
